One of my favorite posts to quote comes from Disputations, whose post last year on fasting touches on a pet peeve of mine.

I would quote it here, but it would mean posting the whole thing... I recommend it. Rock on, Disputations.

Furthermore, I went to the Dominican priory this morning. Concelebrating mass was a Dominican who looked *exactly* like this picture of St. Thomas Aquinas, but without the double chin.

I did a double-take. Whoa.

I've seen a Dominican looking just like that, but he had ginger hair. Very ginger. I love your blog.

It is said of St. Dominic that his hair was a salt-and-peppered reddish color. St. Thomas Aquinas meets St. Dominic! Very cool. ;)

I often pray that God will give me a mind like St. Thomas', but not a stomach like his ...
